Name: Lightdance Age: 20 Moons Gender: She-cat Clan: Stormclan Rank: Deputy
Description: Lightdance is an overall light-build cat, though with her consistant warrior duties she's formed a decent muscle layer, which is visible under her smooth pelt. Her fur is short, and overall white as new-fallen snow. Mounted atop her head are ears slightly larger than normal, though work well to her advantage when it comes to hunting and patrolling. Behind her, Lightdance has a long, feathery tail with fur attached that's longer than any of the rest on her body. The structure of her face is narrowed, bringing focus to her large blue eyes. As for height, Lightdance is unusally tall, her long legs giving her that much more thrust when she runs. Though she must crouch lower than normal when stalking through the forest, or hiding from enemies. Her paws are dainty and small, less of an advantage when it comes to runing.
Personality: Lightdance is a gentle cat, reacting thoughtfully to siuations. Unlike others, she sits and listens more often, soaking in all the information she cat before expressing a thought, or making a decision. This time she spends considering can sometimes be a downfall- too much hesitation can lead to debate and uncertainty. Though more often than not, her insightful and observant ways help out in the long run. It gives her also the fine qualities of being fair, a great listener, and making smart choices. The white she-cat's only downfall might be her conviction, though it's something she works on as often as possible,
History: Lightdance was born and raised in Stormclan like most other kits, raised on the stories of the ancient clans. Such stories inspired little Lightkit, giving her hope to someday stand tall and uphold the past pride of the ancients too. During apprenticehood, Lightpaw had a growth spurt, making her taller than all of the apprentices. She was often made fun of, and turned her into the quiter cat she is today. Though, once she was made a warrior, the light-pelted cat could forget about the thoughts of the others, and focus on her goals. Once she was made deputy, Lightdance finally got a grip on who she was, and focuses all her sights on the future of herself and the clan.
RP Example: The icy cold gripped the morning air, chilling the entire forest below. Tree's were weighted with mounds of white snow and the ground held up a blanket of the same white powder. Among the territory of Stormclan the river had begun to freeze over, chunks of ice clinging to the banks along the water's edge. It was both a beauty and a danger, especially for the cats of Stormclan- a walk too close to the edge could result in an icy plunge.
Lightdance trotted quietly through the territory, parallelling the river at a close distance. Her light blue eyes scanned around the territory, noting how soon the cold was beginning to affect the territory. A few tree branches had collapsed under the weight of the icy particles, while parts of the ground had frozen over, creating a hazardous pass which any Stormclanner might slip and fall. Luckily, none of the clan had collided yet with the dangers of leaf-bare, thank Starclan. As the white deputy continued on her solo-patrol, she sent a silent prayer to their ancestors. Starclan, please continue to keep us safe and guide our paws so we may safely make it to Newleaf.
The young she-cat slowed down as she approached a large dip near the bank of the river- a favorite landmark spot for Lightdance to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of leafbare. Though most days, she was busy organizing patrols, overseeing the apprentices, or out hunting and scouting herself, Lightdance typically took out a few moments in every day to herself. "If I didn't, I'm certain I would go mad!" The white warrior whispered out loud to herself, smiling quiely as her eyes traced the gentle movement of the water. Soon, she would make her way back to camp and continue on with the daily duties.
