Scar-eyes moved around the medicine den sorting herbs thinking about the day her mother cast her aside always got her down and thinking about how lonely she really was. Sometimes she wished that she hadn't become so bad tempered but there was nothing she could do now. All the cats she had once called her friends were no longer her friends because of how she hadn't treated them after loosing her eyesight. The one cat she had thought would always love her had cast her aside.

Rapidstrike padded into the medicene cat's den. He looked at Scar-eyes with sympathy. He knew the she-cat was a bit lonely and decided to give her company. He padded towards her, leaving a few kit-lengths from her. "Hello Scar-eyes. How are you today?

Scar-eyes had sensed the cat before he spoke and she turned her head towards the deputy her black eyes resting on him her scars over her eyes standing out against her black fur. "Hello, Rapidstrike I am doing good for a cat who was cast aside by her own mother," she meowed a bite in her words at the last part. "And how about you?" she asked relieved that she had someone to talk to though she would never admit it.

Rapidstrike flinched a bit at her first choice of words, but relaxed when she asked how he was doing. "I'm good." He simply stated. Rapidstrike then looked around, then back at Scar-eyes. "Do you need any more herbs? I could go fetch them for you." He offered to the scarred she-cat.

"Yarrow, burdock root, and Chevril," Scar-eyes meowed and explained what every herb smelled like, of course she didn't really know what they looked like but she tried to explain it the best she could by telling him how the herb felt when her paw touched it.
